CCAP’s Youth Employment, Training, and Education Programs assist the youth of Rhode Island ages 14 – 24 through free education, training programs, Work Readiness and Job Placement assistance. We provide a full range of services to youth enrolled in school and out of school. All enrollees are connected with a case manager to assist them in their education or employment goals throughout the program.

- A Rhode Island Resident
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Participant must be available to work the entire time – July 6 through August 16, 2020
- Age 14 – 24 on July 1st, 2020, age group varies based on individual program
CCAP Summer Employment Application Process
**All CCAP Lean to Earn Youth Centers are currently closed and are scheduled to re-open on Monday 23, 2020. We are now accepting on-line applications for our Youth Employment, Training, and Education Programs – Make sure to enter a working email address in the application for us to conatct you. If you have any questions regarding CCAP’s Youth Employment, Training, and Education Programs, please call one of our Youth Centers below.**
See the requirements below to make sure you are eligible. Real Skills For Youth – Summer Work Based Learning Program pays $10.50 an hour.
To apply: CCAP Summer Employment 2020 Online Application Make sure to enter a working email address in the application.
You’ll be contacted (in a few weeks) by the Youth Center via the email address that you have on your application. You will get invited to attend a Mandatory Program Orientation. You will receive a list of documents required for summer employment to bring with you to the Orientation.
Your application will be complete only AFTER you:
- Attend an orientation
- Have brought in all documents needed
- Parent or guardian has signed all forms
Once your application is complete and you have completed Orientation and Work Readiness, you can be considered for the program. We’ll try to match you with your top choice but no one is guaranteed a position!
