Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
Since 2006, CCAP has received uninterrupted accreditation by The Joint Commission (formerly known as Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, or JCAHO.
The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit organization, which accredits and certifies more than 20,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States.
Joint Commission accreditation and certification is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization's commitment to meeting certain performance standards. To earn and maintain The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval™, an organization must undergo an on-site survey by a Joint Commission survey team at least once every three years.
NCQA Awards Highest Recognition to CCAP's Health Centers!
The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has awarded their highest level of recognition (Level III) to CCAP's Family Health Services of Cranston, Family Health Services of Coventry and Everett C.
