PromTime is Back!

Our Youth and Skills Center staffs in Cranston, Warwick, and Pawtucket have found that many teens do not have access to the proper clothing and accessories for their high school prom. Many families cannot afford the added expense of prom season.

Please consider donating your gently-used prom dresses, tuxedos, jewelry and bags, or shoes you may have, which we will offer to teens who register for the program. The PromTime distribution will take place at our Youth and Skills Centers (listed below) and all clothing and accessories will be given free of charge.

We accept all sizes and colors and ask that the dresses are formal and appropriate for teenagers. Additionally, we ask that both the tuxedos and dresses are free of excessive stains and damages. Of course, your donation is tax-deductible to the limits of IRS regulations.

Donations of prom clothing and accessories will be accepted through Monday, April 20th and may be dropped off at one of our centers between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  If you are unable to drop off your donations, please call us at 562-8325 and we can arrange a pick-up time.

--Cranston: 656 Park Avenue (pick up between April 22 -24th between 12 noon - 4:00 pm)
--Pawtucket: 171 Main Street (pick up on Sat., April 25)
--Warwick: 3027 West Shore Rd (pick up on Sat., April 25)

If you have any questions, please contact Meghan Nhar at 562-8325 or by email at mnhar@comcap.org.  Thank you for your consideration and help, so that many youth may enjoy this special “rite of passage.”
