What's New

May is Community Action Month

Every year in May, America's 1,000-member Community Action Agency (CAA) network celebrates National Community Action Month by highlighting the innovative ways Community Action helps people, changes lives and encourages the entire community to advocate on behalf of the 37 million Americans living in poverty. To learn more about community action agencies and the work we do click here to visit the Community Action Partnership web site.

The Rhode Island Community Action Association comprises the largest, most comprehensive provider network and statewide safety net in the state. For over 40 years RI's 8 Community Action Agencies have been there to help strengthen families, open doors to self-sufficiency, and improve our communities.

Once again, The Rhode Island Community Action Association and the Pawtucket Red Sox have joined together to celebrate Community Action Month. Please join us on May 31st at McCoy Stadium to celebrate Community Action Night.
