CCAP's Learn to Earn Program Celebrates 2nd Annual Graduation

CCAP's Learn to Learn program is celebrating another successful year helping young people get their lives back on track.
Learn to Earn's 2nd annual graduation ceremony will take place from 10:00AM to 11:30AM on Saturday, July 8th at the Feinstein IMAX Theater at the Providence Place Mall.

CCAP's Learn to Earn Program at the Providence Skills Center will award GEDs to 50 graduates. In addition, 14 fourteen people have completed the National Retail Federation's Customer Service and Sales Training program and will receive their Certificates.

Learn to Earn Graduates have found academic and employment success. Of the youth who recently have completed the Learn to Learn Program 27 are employed; 9 are enrolled or have been accepted to Colleges and Universities and 6 have enrolled in the CVS Pharmacy Tech Program.

CVS Pharmacy Tech Classes Begins

The Providence Skills Center has enrolled 16 people in the first CVS Pharmacy Tech Program. CVS has constructed a mock pharmacy on site. The program is a 12 week, 144 hour course that trains people to assist licensed Pharmacists prepare prescribed medications. The first class will graduate at the end of July. The next training will begin in August.

CCAP's Learn to Earn Program provides academic and job skills for people ages 16 and older. The program is very successful in reaching out to youth who have dropped our of school, have few job skills and need to get their lives back on track. The success of the program is made possible by the funding and support we receive from our partners:
