Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief - Helping People, Changing Lives

Congressman Jim Langevin has joined with RICAA in recognizing the 120 staff and community volunteers who assisted with the network’s Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief Efforts last fall. With the help of all Rhode Islanders we were able to send four trailers loaded with food, water, clothing and other much needed basic supplies to the people of Louisiana and the Gulf Coast. In addition we raised over $30,000 to help people to get back on their feet.
